Mine just went up a couple month's ago at just past 40,000 on my 07 4.7. At least it was cheap enough and easy to replace!

Oh you really think so??? My ex brother in law is a Ford Mechanic and says over half the new Ford trucks sold are coming back on flatbeds with busted transmissions and there is a four to six month backlog on replacement trannies. Google it - interesting reading...

I don't really see a widespread problem with water pumps, probably a lot less than average on Rams. But as a rule they are unpredictable, you can have one last 200,000 miles or 20,000 miles...

It's perfectly fine to vent, but I just felt it needed to be pointed out that Dodge is not the only truck company having issues. In this day of outsourced Chinese parts and lowest bid, nobody is without problems these days.

I've been very lucky on my two Rams. I had my 2nd Gen for four years and 68k miles and never had a warranty repair done. My 3rd Gen was in once in over seven years of ownership - for a blown stock shock and that's it.
But I will say that I have replaced most of the known "common" issue components before they had a chance to fail...
