I recently got that same code in my 04, which was an early release model purchased in 9/03. I tightened the cap and it went away too. It's back now though. Another thing to look over is the small lines from the evap system. Often they get brittle and crack causing a leak in the system. Mine appear to be good though, I might look at getting a replacement cap.

 

are the lines under the hood or under the body/box of the truck?
