Default The PCM's VIN

I have a 2002 Dodge 1500 Ram truck 5.9L engine. I am getting ready to find a PCm online and was wandering about the VIN number for the PCm. My truck has two VIN numbers. The one on the door is different than the one on the dash under the windshield. Which one do I use? They is just one number difference between them.
Where would be a good place online to find one?

Yea I got the PCM part number, but when I order my new/reman PCM it requires that I send them the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) and I don't know which one to use. The one on the door or the one under the windshield.

I'd go with the one under the windshield.. doors are easy to swap, cab's, not so much.. if I'm not silly, I think those plates that have the vin use special rivets too, so it's not easy to swap them at all.

Isn't the VIN on every body panel for theft purposes?

ya use the VIN on the dash, like already mentioned the doors etc... are easy to change out.
