brake controler help needed bad,,,
Hi yall i hate to be a pita BUT i got to get this controller hooked up today as i have to leave to get a trailer tomorrow and i need brakes.....
i have a 2008 ram 1500 4.7 with tow package, BUT dodge decided they didnt need to put the controller plug under the dash!!!! (i just came from the dodge dealer and they looked and said it wasnt there,,) so i need to know if anybody can give me the colors of the wires that i need to hook to under the dash,, any other directions would be great too
thanks a bunch......
PS i have a Tekonsha Primus Trailer Brake Controller without a Boost Feature for a controller with the wires coming out the back of it to hook up with.

if you have a factory installed tow package, with the 7-pin plug recessed in the bumper, you do have the plug.
It's tucked under the carpet. Looking at the brake pedal, it's up to the left waaaayy up in there.
If you have no 7-pin plug in the bumper, you dont have factory tow package.

HEY i found it
thanks for prodding me into standing on my head again LOL it was up above the "box" where it should be BUT it was pushed back into the rubber boot that goes though the fire wall. only way i found it was to take down the dash panel under the steering wheel and then i could look straight in and i caught just the corner of the BLUE plug
it was almost pushed all the way outside the cab
thanks for the help
