Default Powertrain Warranty Question

Hello, I am new to the forum. I have a question that I was hoping I could get some help with. I was told today by the dealership that I need 2 upper control arms, 2 lower ball joints and a front end allignment. Should this or should this not be covered under section 3 (drive axle) portion of the powertrain warranty? Thanks.

Powertrain only covers internal lubricating parts that fail like valve springs trans internals and front and rear diff internals. I know I got screwed the same way with my balljoints, throttlebody and powersteering pump. If I were u I would buy a maxi care contract from the dealer it covers everything almost and gets u a rental while u wait for ur car.

Frankie,

Prado is correct. Ball joints and control arms are not covered under the powertrain warranty.
