is there any way to remove the little compartment under the back seat behind the cup holders in the back or is that permanent might be a stupid question but i was just wondering thanks for any help

 

or how could i possibly raise the seat a few inches? thatll be bettr for me please let me know

 

Pretty sure that compartment is stamped into the floor steel. If you raise the seat, make sure the anchoring is secure enough. I've seen some posts about putting washers under the seat frame and using longer bolts. Seems risky to me.
