Hey guys, did some searching couldnt really find a definite answer so im making a new thread.

got a 04 5.7L Ram 1500. Driving home today in some strong winds the truck was running fine. Got into town and noticed my coolant temp was getting up there. Just above half. As i kept going and stopping it slowly would climb a bit more. Got her home couldnt see any leaks or anything. The cab did seem like the heat would be on and off the whole way. Didnt think anything of it at the time. This sound like a bad t-stat? After i got home i also lifted the hood and put on a nice welding glove and opened the rad cap. it popped up but no coolant came shooting out? Maybe just a bubble?

Any other ideas would be great! Thanks!
