Default Front end rebuild

I have 1 bad balljoint on my 03 Ram 1500 2wd. With my mileage I've decided to all 4 and a few other things. Parts I have now are the ball joints, new coil springs, camber/caster kit, outer tie rods and poly bushings. Can anyone think of anything else I might want to replace while I'm here? Also, is there a spring compressor that'll work without going out and having to buy the way over priced dodge one? Thanks

You dont need a spring compessor. Use a jack and preload the suspension as you take everything off. all my years in a garage a compessor is only good for coil overs when they are out of the car. I would check your hub bearings to be safe, and maybe change the control arms bushing.

The upper control arm will totally be replaced when you do upper ball joints (all serviced at once). The lower ball joint isn't to bad to do, as long as you have the install tool to do it.

When I think of FE rebuild I think of both upper controls arms and lower BJs, sway bar links, inner and outer tie rods, wheel bearing hubs, caliper rebuild kits or replacements, replace or turn rotors

Maybe some of that will ring a bell on anything else you need to do.

Only thing I haven't done is new torsion bars, lower control arm bushings, and sway bar bushings. Truck does drive nice, but it did even before all the new parts. 190k miles and it looks and feels just like a new truck....
