Default Electric brake plug wire functions??

I have a 05 ram and am trying to hook a brake controller up. Can anyone help me identify the wires on the plug in the cabin that the electric brake controller plugs into? Brown with red tracer / green / white with tan tracer / black. I bought the NAPA brake control connector and just need to know how it wires up to my Reese POD control weather it be color for color or something else so it matchs the blue plug in the truck. A friend had the controller sitting around WITHOUT any instructions of course. Best I can tell pretty much all controllers are wired the same (blue - trailer connector, black - pos, white - neg, red - stoplight) Thanks a million to whoever can help out. I've looked high and low for function of these 4 wires!

You can download the Srvc Man for your truck from the links in my signature and look in the Wiring section and towards the bottom find the Connector Pin Outs and it will tell you what color, gauge wire and where they go

Hey weed I have a favor to ask. I tried downloading the file but didn't have any luck opening it. I've been trying for an hour!! lol Can you by chance find the colors of the wires on that blue electric brake plug (Brown with red tracer / green / white with tan tracer / black) and tell me what each wire stands for. I'd really appreciate it man. Thanks

If you have a test light, you can use the directionals, brake pedal...etc to find what wires are what.
You can also use a multimeter to find which wires change the voltage.

Anyways, did a quick search on the web and found this. There's gotta be something there to help you out?

You need to download and install a free app called WinRAR

http://www.win-rar.com/downloads//rar/wrar410.exe

once installed, right click on the file and choose to extract it
