Default Truck wont start

I have a 06 ram w/ a 5.7 hemi. A week ago I went to start the truck and all i could hear is clicking. Cleaned the conections at the batter, the starter and where the wire comes inat the side of the fuse box. So i took the starter out and had it tested and it was bad. I bought a new one but it still wouldnt start. I also tried changing the battery with no luck. So then I bought a new starter relay. Still wont start. So I start checking voltage. I only have 10v on the small wire at the starter when the key is turned to start. At the relay I have 10v on the wire yellow/red stripe wire and 12v on the trigger wire.
i dont know what to check next. anyone else had this problem please help

Battery time. Will it start if you jump it?

Good luck with that ford if you think they are trouble free.

Youre new to the board, posted a thread and have to realize no one lives on here. So be patient wifh technical questions.

Since you obviously have voltage issues, the best thing i think you can do is to click on the links in my signature and download the link for the free service manual. Go down to the wiring section and bring up the schematics and trace them through the circuit and test accordingly.

Just because you tried to jump it, you could still have used bad cables or had a bad connection. Ihave had bad cables before and a good connection.

The starting circuits are incredibly simple. Key, ignition, battery, voltage, starter and relay. If you have no rotation when you bump the key then those are the components to look at.

Well you better get one of the new Fords, that $h!tty 5.4 couldn't pull a sick ***** off the pot. As Weed said, just be patient. I one time had to buy three different batteries because the two new ones I bought at Auto Zone happened to be bad, which happened to be in my Ford oddly enough. Try bench testing the battery, just because its new doesn't mean its good.
