Could it have anything to do with the cat or ox sensor?

Well im not happy now, Thought i found the problem and it stopped and now its back after a day trip. I was digging around and one ofe the wires running to the throttle body was stripped and breaking apart so i repaired it and it seem to be fine so i guess it was a fluke that i stopped. It got really bad this morning that when i came to the light the truck almost died and rpms dropped to appox. 200 and then rev back up to 500. I have no codes and this is really getting to me and I cant get into the dealer till next friday. Someone please help...
