hey all...been away for some time, and just heard from a buddy that superchip has the new programmer out.... says he saw it on a forum..... anyone know what the word is on it??? just was wondering if anyone has the info....
Im runnin better with my rebuilt fuel pump, but hated the down time, so I started riding my bike , doctors pissed, but thats ok, LOL.................

I have been under the impression that Hypertech is/was the tuner of choice aside from a custom job. Only thing I can recommend is calling Superchips directly and grilling them over the details.

 

What is a superchip and what does it do? Sorry for the newbish question.

the goodies for the 04's should be coming out soon, I know stuff is already out for the 05 cummins

Alienfrog. . .the superchip is a downloader that replaces the factory programming for the engine with a more agressive one that advances the timeing and fuel ratios for more power.

 

So how much more power do you get from that?

well here is the word as i heard it... this past weekend superchip unveiled their chip/programmer for the 04, and invited Hemi owners down to FL for an open house and even gave 20 hemi owners a FREE programmer... So it should be just about on the market... As for the Hypertech, I am told dont go with the programmer because theirs is good for yrs 03-05, and i am told there are too many differences in the engine between 03s and 04s,05s.... and Superchip makes a specific one for 04s and 05s.... Hope this helps
