Default 1500 Ram LSD issue

Well, my ram has suffered the LSD issue. I was wondering what most of you do in regards to it.
1. Rebuild it and wait to do again 60k+ miles
2. Replace with a different unit, example Yukon?
3. Other suggestion?

Rebuild it the right way and never worry about it again.

Rebuild the entire rear-end end with new ring/pinion since they must come out to replace the bearings and crush collar.
Install an aftermarket LSD. I would def not re-install a stock LSD.
My two choices would be Detroit truetrac and then Auburn LSD.
Gear choices would be 3:92's or 4:10's with stock sizes tires, or 4:56's if you have a larger tire.

Dont take any advice that tells you to just remove the retaining clips(the parts that fell out and caused damage) as they are fully functional and without them in place while running the stock LSD can cause excessive wear and slop inside the carrier. It will fail over time again and likely cause traction issue's before hand(no lock-up and only 1wheel peel)

Inspect the ring/pinion and spiders and if there are no visible signs of damage you can probably get by with them. Personally I'd put an Auburn or Detroit TT in it or run open. I kinda agree with 'dog in that I wouldn't just yank the clips BUT I know guys (forum and personally) who have run with the clips yanked for upwards of 30,000 miles with no apparent ill effects...

A buddy used this one in his http://www.ringpinion.com/b2c/Produc...rce=DiffWizard
Has anyone used those before? So far the auburn and detroit seem to be the popular choices.
If I go with the Detroit, wheres the best place to buy?
