I have seen a few threads about making thses but I would liketo see a step-by-step of how to do it on my truck (06 1500 with hemi 5.7). Please let me know I don't want to mess this up. Also, I do a lot of muddin, is there anyway I could still keep the air box?

 

There's lots of ways to do it. I am sure there is a DIY in the DIY section (go figure).

This is one I made for a former 3rd Gen moderator that I made a heat shield for that would pretty much protect from splashing water as well...
