Hey guys I have a 03 dodge ram 2 wheel drive 5.9 360 quad cab, today I was driving home i noticed that it was not wanting to shift out of first gear unless I let off the gas a little, once it shifted all the other gears shifted just fine, but once I got home I couldn't get the truck to shift into park the shifter will go into the park position but it remains in reverse, anyone had or heard of this problem all help appreciated its my only means of transportation.

 

I would check the shift linkage under the truck and see if its stuck or jammed

 

I thought about that, but I wouldn't think that that would cause the truck to not wanna shift into second and so on
