Hey there. New to the forum. Just purchased a 2007 ram 1500 crew can sport with the hemi and 54,000 miles. Anything I need to know about these trucks. Problems, what to look out for, preventive repairs? Thanks

I just joined myself, I can't find where to create a new thread. Isn't there a "New Thread" button somewhere?

sorry for the trouble, but I'm getting a little frustrated...

Well, you can start with putting at least 89 octane on fill-ups. With 54k miles it would help if you knew who had the truck before you so you can ask what has been done to your truck. If not knowing, it is past maintenance on a few areas. Plugs for sure if they haven't been changed, check all fluids and change accordingly.

In addition to what Arctodus said in the way of preventive repairs I would say try to change out the tie rod ends and other factory non greasable parts to greaseable ones

Thanks for the responses. I just bought a set of plugs and the transmission filters. Going to tackle it shortly.
