i have an 02 dodge ram 1500 2wd i want to put 3in coils in the front and put a 2in leveling spacers on it. is that possible or will i have to put new spindles on it too. thank you guys in advance yall help alot of people and hopefully me too
Yeah its possible but its going to be a pain to get all that in there and may put your ball joints in a bind. I would go with new spindles. More expensive but alot less stress on the front end.
I used to have 3" CST springs with 2" spacers and although it fit, I occassionally would hit the UCA when hitting a pot hole or going over a speed bump. Lift spindles are the way to go.
I totally agree with these dudes. Pay the couple extra hundos and do it right for peace of mind. Airbagit.com has a set of 3" lift spindles that are fairly priced, you can even search around on ebay for the same exact spindles at a little bit of a lower price. That's what I was able to do.
