Default Overhead Console Lens Covers-Can't get them back in!

I pulled the lenses off of the two reading lamps in the overhead console on my 2003 Ram 2500. I'm trying to reinstall them but I can't figure it out! Its an absolute head scratcher. Can you tell me if it looks like I broke some small piece on them that might hold them in place? Thanks!

I think they're fine. I kinda remember thinking the same thing on mine. They'll go in. Just push. Carefully. I thought it was gonna break but alas it popped in.

What sort of order to you use to pop them in? I watched a few videos but no luck. I think I'd need to get the rear set then use a slim flathead/etc to wedge the catch (on the front of the lens cover) into the overhead console. Sound good?

You can try that. I honestly just got the back in and pushed up on the front until it felt like it might break and it finally popped in.

To get them out you normally have to use a small flat head to pry them out. I assume getting them back in would require the same.

Slide the end with the tab up and in first, then push up until the two "U" looking parts snap into place. Very easy.
