leaking fuel question
Ok i looked up the codes on the forum and have no idea if its bad or not. the p0420 says catalyst system efficiency below threshold(bank1)
0152 code is 02 sensor circuit high voltage (bank2)
i have noooo idea what they mean, good or bad?? or in the middle, lol!!!
some input would greatly be appricated and doing the repairs easy and fairly cheap?? thanks guys in advance..

As long as they are the downstream O2's which I assume they are with a cat code then no harm done. On my 05 I don't have cats and my rear 02's are just tucked in the heat shield (Longtube headers, Aftermarket Y-Pipe) and I don't even get a code. The downstreams are for emissions to let you know when your converter is no longer converting. The pcm uses the front 02's (before the cats) for air fuel adjustments. I would say that the liquid is water which is normal while the exhaust heats up. The hot exhaust hits the cold pipes and condensation forms.....like a cold beer bottle on a hot day :-) If it was gas....it would be one heck of a flame thrower!!!
Getting that kind of mileage..you might want to make sure one of your cats is not coming apart and restricting the exhaust flow. I get 16-17 mpg on the highway at 80 mph + With my Daytona and I have that wing catching air which probably doesn't help mileage! Dodge wants you to change the plugs every 30 thousand miles, might want to pull one of the front (easy) ones and check the condition of it.

The P0152 is upstream 02 bank 2 (passenger side before the cat) That will affect mileage as the computer uses the reading from the upstreams to adjust air fuel mixture. The p0420 is downstream and just monitors the efficiency of the cat. I would do the upstream first, clear the codes and see if the rear is ok and just reading wrong because of the front being bad. As for damage I doubt it, the computer defaults to a "safe mode" if sensor readings are out of range to prevent engine damage. Which is usually on the rich (more fuel) side.
The exhaust is water from condensation as the hot exhaust hits the cool pipes and will go away as the exhaust pipes heat up. Kinda like a ice cold beer on a hot day :-)

A guy at work said he got the o2 sensor's at autozone, ones made by bosch and they didnt work. light was out for afew days and still threw the same codes.. could this be possible? then he said if i keep driving it i will blow a rod, hope that isn't a fact.. can u guys chime in on this..
thanks for the input.
