I have a 2004 Ram 1500 2wd with the 4.7L V8 and 140K miles on it. I'm having an odd ignition problem. When i turn the key the starter starts turning but stops after a second then i have to take the key back out and try again at which point it turns for another second and finally comes on. It usually only takes 2 tries but sometimes it takes 3. Once it is on, i have no problem with it. My dad said it stalled on him once at a red light but i haven't noticed any problems. I took it to autozone and they said the battery, the alternator, and the starter were all working fine. The truck is not putting out any codes. Can someone point me in the right direction?
