If you see the PO's vin that is your issue. It is still locked to that vehicle. The PO did not return his vehicle to stock with that tuner. You will not be able to tune your truck until you have SC unlock the tuner which I believe will cost you $100.

Contact SC, or connect your tuner and log into tuning site. You may be able to purchase the unlock feature in that fashion.

sorry dude, that sucks.

Yeah, I would call SC tomorrow morning before throwing a hundo right at it. Maybe you will get lucky and there's a technical issue that can be solved.

Try SC, but I can tell you that I've returned my tuner to stock probably a dozen times for others to try on their Rams as well as other supported Hemi/4.7 vehicles and at no time did the tuner have my truck's VIN on it after I put my truck back to stock or when I used it to install on other vehicles. I think Pitbull has a point...

If the previous owner modified TPMS and didn't return that feature to stock, the tuner will stay locked to the previous truck.

This could be the issue, but contact Superchips to verify: 1.888.227.2447

Thanks guys. I called SC this morning they said that it was returned to stock but probably not the correct way. This may be a difficult one they said. I have to try it tonight again after work and if it doesn't work I may have to find another option and they will have to work on it. Wow what a pain in the a*@ maybe someday I'll get it Cleared ! Wish me luck. Thanks again to all.
