I have a 2007 ram with auto trans and 5.7 motor. Every once in a while, when I am stopped at a light. The truck will lurch forward as if I stepped on the gas pedal. I notice the Rpms have dropped to 500 and are increasing to 700. It does it regardless of whether the a/c is on or off. The trans fluid level is fine. Anyone else experience this? Is it a bad idle control valve or tps? Thanks

 

My 08 does the same thing , I grounded the throttle body and that helped some but it still does it every now and then .
