I am looking to do a torsion bar lift or how ever you may call it on my truck using stock keys but I hear a lot of people saying if this is done to upgrade your shocks do they can handle the two inch lift on front plus help the ride on the truck along with minimize wear on other parts. I have looked and every shock I find says it's for 0inch lift/drop so what's some good shocks that have the 2inch lift/drop on it?

 

Is I have an 07 and don't have the torsion bar setup, I can't give you 100% comfortable response, but I do have the Bilstein 5100s which are good for a 2in lift. I used them to level my ram is it came out great!
Not sure if you can use these same springs to help with the torsion bar. I'd recommend waiting for one of the experts to chime in here.

 

I just did the torsion bar crank a couple months ago and got skyjacker hydro shocks and so far they have been great.

 

There is a wise, old dude on this forum who has started a list of shock brands/part numbers in the FAQ section for those with levels and lifts.

(ok, ok some will argue the "wise" part, but nobody will fight me on the "old" part...)

 

I put Rancho 5000s on mine with my torsion lift and it is great. firmed it up just nicely. i ordered them online from oreillys.
