I dont know if all rims are made the same. That Charger weighs nothing compared to the Ram. Truck rims (usually) have more lugs and the weight is spread out over more center mass on the rim. I am unsure I would trust them. One pothole and crack, crack, crack.

I have never done it though. A wiser entity will chime in

I believe the charger rims are 5x4.5 and a 1500 is 5x5.5. Ideally you want a rim that's 9" wide but never less than 8". I'm not sure what size rims you have but I'd sell them and buy a set of 5x5.5 and not deal with spacers or hub adapters. Some run them with no trouble at all but with all the money you spend to make them fit, they still could fail and cause serious injury. Spend that money on rims that fit and are designed for your truck and you'll be much safer and happier in the long run.

Wheel adapters have been known to fail and I've personally seen one that did and the wheel/tire came right off on the guy in rush hour traffic.

Sell the wheels and buy a set that fit your truck...

What about the load rating on the charger wheels. Is it enough for the truck. or will you cracked a wheel.

I've been running 2" thick adapters on my ram (24s with 40" tires) for two years now and haven't had a single problem. HOWEVER take note that these were custom machined out of solid billet and i'm running ARP studs.
