Default 4 Loud Beeps?

I wanted to try out a 2005 PCM after doing the 2003->2004 hemi wiring conversion. It runs great but shortly after I start it, I get 4 SUPER loud beeps. Not the normal chime, but a beep through the speakers that is loud as hell.

Any ideas?

If it is a beep tone through the radio speakers then I would assume its something with the radio.

Good call. Just found this info...

AMPLIFIER (PREMIUM SYSTEM)
...
The amplifier reads the VIN from the PCI bus and sets itself to match the vehicle. The amplifier will send four beeps to the vehicle speakers at ignition ON, if it does not read the VIN correctly. A replacement amplifier may beep at the first power up, but if these beeps are heard after the first ignition ON, the DRB III should be used to verify the amplifier is connected to the PCI bus and that the VIN on the PCI bus is correct.
...

Thanks

LOL....I knew it!

On a side note, a lot of the modules in the truck broadcast the VIN across the CANBUS.

Ahh, gotcha. The PCI bus though right (not CANBUS 2006+)? I haven't looked too far into this yet. I just wasn't sure if it was some crazy alarm that meant my engine was going to blow up or something!

I'm sure it will get annoying soon enough...maybe then I'll deal with it.
