Rear End Help

I am having problems isolating the noises my ram makes.

Its a 2005 QUAD-2WD 4.7. This truck has been one of the best until about 3,000 miles ago when i noticed a faint sqeaking/grinding noise coming from the rear end at low speeds. I have inspected the u joint(s); and brake assembly and have come up empty; any suggestions?

Have you pulled the diff cover and inspected/changed oil?
