Thats a nice approach to get a dual, i wonder what would be the hp difference compared to the one in two out mufflers.

I will try to take pics soon. They told me you would get about a 12 hp increase with the system I got. I see you have a cold air intake how do you like it what type do you have.

 

I like the Cold Air Intake since it gave me and extra 1 mpg, and it gives the truck a deeper sounding noise when you gun it.
As for the brand i dunno got it of a friend that got it on ebay, i had to add a piece of pipe to it to make it a complete kit, since the original only went up to the place where it says "hemi magnum 5.7", instead of the trottle body.

 

For accuracy sake... every modern "true dual" exhaust system includes an "X" or "H" merge pipe/connector of some sort that joins the dual pipes. The reasons are well established. Hence, if one had a dual system with a muffler having dual inlets and outlets, depending on the internal design of the muffler, this might simply be a form of merge system and might well still be considered "true dual" by today's usage.

I dont know that much about it. I had a muffler shop do it, so im thinking they know what there doing. I had them do my 01 ram when I had it and they told me I couldnt put true duals on that one. Why would you need a H pipe for. Im guessing it is for even flow pressure on both sides.

 

I've got an 05 hemi RC w/ a custom exhaust from exhaust depot. 2 pipes "x" no cats no mufflers and dumped before the axle, the sound is amazing. i'll post a sound clip when I get out of work. btw no CELS either.

 

Good luck getting that through emissions testing.

 

Funny in your pics I see 2 bullet muflers? Why tell people you hav no mufflers?
