Default Day Star level kit vs 3" Rough Country spring lift

Ok I know I was on here a couple weeks ago asking about a 2wd lift with a 2.5 " Day Star level kit vs a Spindle lift and the Spindle lift was is the way to go. BUT it's going for about $700-800 for it all, and the wife has put a hold on my spending spree. I still need wheels and tires at around $1000 for those.

Day Star about $125.00 plus shipping

Here is the Rough Country lift.

Kit Contents:

· Front coils springs

· (4) RC Hydro 8000 series shocks

· 1 ½" rear blocks & u-bolts. All for $300.00 plus shipping

Has anyone gone with this replacement spring lift kit and how do you like it.

The lift spindles are $279...

I just put then on my truck and a 2" rear lift block from a local parts store for $30. That's $310 total for 3" spindles and rear 2"lift blocks for a factory ride. Look at ebay airbagit sells the spindles on ebay at discounted prices under the name pricebusterchris. And if you go in the general talk section look at the thread lifted and plasti dipped and you will see how my truck sits with this set up.
