Light for Conopy
I have a 2006 ram quad 5.7 .. On the back of the new canopy I havr a brake light.. Do I have to go from the front under the dash to hook this up for it to work.. or is there a way i do it from the back of the truck

The easiest way is to tap the brake light wire of the trailer harness. At least then you stay on the outside of the truck.
Just be sure your splice is waterproof to prevent issues later on.
