I posted this a while back and never got any responses, but I have an 06 Ram 1500 quad cab, 3.7 V6, bout 130,000 miles on it. When I engage the cruise control, no matter what speed, the accelerator goes to the floor and doesn't let up until I disengage the cruise control. Is this just a bad unit or what else might could cause that to happen? When I try using the "Decel" button, as long as I like hold it down it might hold the speed I'm at, but the truck speeds up and slows down erratically if I do that. Happened just all the sudden on a trip last year. Thanks in advance!!
