Default Tire rotation question

Hey all just got a great deal off Craigslist on a set 2003-05 20" five spoke 3rd Gen rims with new Yokohama Geolanders 275/60-20s on them. They supposedly only have 2-300 miles on them and they look to be about that much on them. But, they guy did not mark what position/spot they came off of.

So my question with only those 2-300 miles on them will it matter where I mount them on my truck? Or is there a way to check the rotation position/spot to get them right.

Unless the tires are directional why would it matter?

No they are not directionals, but I know you can't rotate left side with right side tires. But they ate so "new" it shouldn't matter right?

Says who? I do on all my cars. The owners manuals in all my cars have an X pattern for rotation. Also you can download the FSM and see it says backs move to the front, front right to back left, and front left to back right. So it should not matter at all. Slap em on and call it a day.

+1, you are 100% correct. I cross my tires every time i rotate them. Everyone i have talked to about it recommends doing this.

Wow I thought you had to rotate "Radial" tires front to back only. Just looked at page 253 in my owners manual and it shows switching left to right back and forth to

That is an old Bias ply rotate they always had to rotate in the same direction. New radials can be moved anywhere with no problems.
