Default Please help!! Weird elec problem!!

Ive got a 04 scsb ram w/ a hemi. About a month ago, i encountered a problem with my truck. My radio completely quit working and whenever i turn the ignition off, the truck acts as if i pulled the battery out of it. Nothing works that suppose to work. When i turn the ignition to the acc and on position, everything works as it should except the radio. Ive checked the fuses and theyre fine. Please help!!!!

I am no expert by any means, but it sounds like your ignition switch is defective.

Look up PCM in the forum.
It may be the source of your issue.

the ignition switch has three different contacts in it. they feed the fuse box under the hood. I cant remember which row of fuses it is but it is only half of the row. I had one of the contact brake the factory solder and would not make contact. The A/C didn't work, the abs and brake lights stayed on on the dash and it seemed like there was something else but it wasn't the radio. Soldered the contact back in place, all good. switch at Autozone I think was only $30.
