Truck wouldn't start this morning, turned over but no go. I could smell gas when I jumped out of the truck.
I bought a code reader and came up with P1494 code (LDP), would this perevent my truck from starting?
been out several times today to try and start it but it seems to be flooding as I can smell gas.

 

Start at your LDP and check every hose for vacuum leaks. It's usually that. It could be the pressure switch if you don't find a vac leak. You prob smell gas due to priming the fuel pump and not being able to run the engine to burn it off.
