Default Are longer Brake Lines needed?

Hey all I have to replace both upper A-arms, Lower Ball joints and Stabilizer links. So I went ahead and ordered my 3" spindles from off of Amazon from Air-Bag-It. (saved $35 on shipping this way) to get them all mounted together sometime next week.

My question is do I need longer brake lines and what length do I buy. I found some 18" ones from Summit for a good price. There was no mention of longer lines when I ordered the spindles. So any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks H-

For 3" you should be ok. If its a good price on longer ones and your starting with spindles with plans of going higher then get them. Otherwise you'll be ok.

Hmmm not too sure what that'd do. Pretty sure they're the same size. I think challengers do spindle swaps for brake upgrades due to the brakes mounted on the front side of the rotor. That's the only side swapping I've heard of but who knows.

My post here goes into a little bit further detail about swapping the brake lines, but the differences in suspension from 05 to 06 could be big enough that your situation could be different altogether. I'd try getting in touch with someone with an 05 that has done the spindles you are going with to make sure. I'm always out to save a buck, and brake lines aren't exactly cheap.
