The reason I pulled fuel rail to physically watch injectors was because it had an extended crank but had a little response like it wants to run but either takes that 3 more sec to start or starts and stumbles a little. was thinking dripping injector, but now I'm confident that it's because the engine doesn't like trying to run on vapor and takes that 3 to 5 to get fresh actual fuel . If check valve was good it would keep enough volume of fuel in rail to prevent boiling in that 5 to 15 min window of super heat.
Right ? Looking for some help here. Haven't worked on dodges all that often , but I love the look and ride of this one, my poor silverado never gets driven anymore .

I'm confident that it's vapor lock, but still could use a fuel pressure drop comparison ,
This may come in handy to more ram owners in future.

I had same problem on 2002 ram1500 4.7l with out code fuel pressure was actin funny drops sometimes holds little while and throw fuel from exhaust.
Get ur self 16 set o rings for injectors and list 2 new injector properly discoonect fuel rail and injectors check with ohms meter no metter manufactory specs basicaly they have to be close eachother and check spraying nozzles with led light clean with electronic or sensor cleaners only on my job two injectors was looking too good like a new compare with others usually working injectors has some wear anyway i gave it shot and replace that (2 too good looking nozzles ones) put everything back and ater 3 months still have no problem runs like new and that time i put stock intkake back with fresh filter mpg improved and runs smoother.
