Default Engine dies at about idle speed occassionally.

So I was home on R&R last week. I was reversing my 03 4.7 into the driveway at about idle speed, maybe slightly higher and the engine just died. It also did this while pulling into a parking space a few days prior to this. Does anyone happen to know or have had similar issues with this? I changed the plugs just over a year ago, but haven't done the wires (i know they aren't wires, but can't think of the nomencalture right now). Any input would be greatly appreciated.

No CEL's. The only maintenance I have done in the past year was spark plugs, a couple of oil changes, ait sensor, accessory belt tensioner assembly and belt. It has happened before all the maintenance as well. I did the throttle recalibration technique just before I left and noticed a slight improvement in the idling. Hopefully that helps the issue. I don't know where else to go with this.

ERG Valve was the culprit when mine was dying.

Will definitely look into that when I get home. Like I said before, it doesn't do it all the time, just occassionally and usually comes with some really low idling.

Also check your IAC valve which is located on the front driver's side of your throttle body. After time and with this crap ethonol they keep putting in our gas, the rubber seals tend to stick. I pulled mine out, cleaned it with some carb cleaner and a brush, cleaned it again with some WD40 and reinstalled it to never have that problem again.

The EGR, as mentioned, can cause that, too.
