High idle shut off

hi i got a 2008 ram1500 hemi just baught a DS tuner and set my idle so when it start it will rev up to 1500 and drop to idle speed right away rather than sit a 1500 and slowly drop(takes abo ut 1min with stock settings) so will this cause any long term harm
also turned of mds

No harm and IMO, revving to 1500 and quickly dropping down to the normal idle rpm is perfect.
