I went to replace my EGR valve today and the new one has a smaller opening than the old one. Will this affect anything, or should I take the new one back and get a different one?
You dont have to but IMO it is a good practice to do. It resets a lot of things like your fuel trims which make it relearn how you drive and could possibly help your mileage
