got a dodge ram 1500 5.7 2003 gives me a code p0172 bank 1 too rich
and the truck running like crap need help fixing it already changed plugs
could it b the o2 sensors or the tb senors or map sensors ?

 

Yeah, replace the appropriate O@ after checking for broken or loose exh manifold bolts or cracks

 

Any clue watch one it would b any help

 

it could be stock open fuel injector on bank 1 which keep sprays fuel even dont have too and make o2 reading rich with extra fuel.
first check fuel pressure with engine running, gauge should be stable mine gives around 52psi on run and stable gauge than shut of engine with key on still mine gives 40psi and leave the gauge hooked up little while look for a pressure drops.If you have bad injector or "s" you will notice unstable gauge and huge pressure drops on fuel system. if it does drops and unstable gauge readings.
Disconnect all injectors electrical connectors and get ohms readings with dwom no matter manufactory specs reading on injectors usually give you very close readings except bad ones!!

 

ok well i put fuel pressure gauge on jumps around when the engines running the engine off its at 40 plus psi bad injector (s) may b ? well i changed the throttle accturator stop the jumping around still sounds bad
