I have an 02 1500 with the 4.7
i was driving it died at a stop light and wont start
put the key in the ignition turn it all the dash lights come on turn to start and only get a click sound thats it!

Any help would be great

Check battery charge level, worn, loose corrroded wires to battery starter alternator. Bad starter or solenoid those are the basics to check first

 

Sounds like the battery to me. Can you jump it?

 

i have not tried jumping it, unfortunatly it broke down at my brother-in-laws 4 hrs away
i will look into the battery and cables aswell as starter solinoid
