It started with a low whine from the rear end which is now a minor roar with a shimmy when I stop. But it all stops when I make a constant left turn like an on ramp. Thinking maybe axle bearings. Any advice or ideas would be most appreciated.

Im going to tell you what you already know. Go jack up the rear end and pull the diff cover and inspect everything
