Replacement radio
I went to crutchfield's website. Put in make model etc and it shows you what fits your vehicle. What i like about them, is they provide you with all the wiring adapters so you don't cut your factory plugs. Been a while back, but if you purchase a head unit in the 100 to 130 price range or higher, usually got free shipping, no tax, all adapters needed for install and install instructions for free. Crutchfield is good for info, but very pricey. I use SonicElectronix
You'd need radio trim to cover up the control **** cutouts and to mount the radio. You would need a harness to convert stock wiring into wiring that an aftermarket radio can be wired up to.
To unhook any OEM radio and plug in an aftermarket straight up is never going to happen. Don't care what vehicle you own.
You can buy the standard Chrysler radio harness for the speaker wires and wire your power, ground aand ACC wires yourself. It'll cost $10 for that harness. Radio mounting kit costs about $25 and can fit single to Din-1/2(same size as OEM).

Crutchfield is a good resource even if you don't end up buying from them. As said above, you can put in your vehicle specs and it will show you everything that is an exact fit or requires modification to fit. You can even chat online with a tech and get info and you aren't under an obligation to buy. They always include wiring harness, instructions, and technical support and sometimes even throw in install kits when they are necessary. If you don't buy a unit from them, they will sell you the harness.
Most harnesses aren't plug and play, however. One end will plug into your factory wiring so that you don't have to cut any of that. But you usually still need to make the connections from the other end of the harness to the head unit. Often times, that's as simple as matching same colored wires and splicing them together.
I have known about Crutchfield for many years and have used them in one way or another many times. Sometimes I buy from them and sometimes I start there to find out what I need/want and then shop prices elsewhere. There have been times where the prices were so close that, when considering what Crutchfield includes, it's worth it to just buy from them for peace of mind of having the support and the ability of having a no hassle return if something isn't quite right. This past Christmas, I was shopping for a new HU for my daughter's 4runner. I went to CF and found what I wanted that would fit, got the model number and went shopping online. I ended up going back to the Crutchfield site and bought it from them. The time before that, I found what I needed on their site and found a deal online that they couldn't touch so I bought it that way.
