Default 2008 Ram 1500 ambient temperature sensor?

Hi, my first post here and I need someone to tell me exactly when the sensor is for the ambient air temperature on a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 Hemi. I think that I may have found it behind a cross piece on the passenger side in front of the radiator. Does that sound correct? If anyone has an image of one and the placement it would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Don

Well I can't tell you exactly 'when' the sensor is, but it's location is bolted to the bottom headlight bolt on the driver's side. See the white circle below.

Sorry 'bout the when/where mistake. Anyway, I found the sensor hanging around in the area that you mentioned (vehicle was purchased as a repro so you never know what you will find). I could not see the details of your image so I attached it where seemed logical. Also, behind the bolt I found a pin thingy about two (2) inches long and am curious where it is. Attached is a picture of where I attached the sensor and also a picture of the pin thingy that was behind the bolt. Thanks for your original reply and now if you can tell me if I put the sensor in the correct place and also what the pin is I will really be appreciative.
Cheers,
Don (in IA at 101 degrees F)

That's the right spot if you're talking about the sensor for the readout on the overhead console display.
