Now that we've put a tonneau on our hemi for the last month or 2, my dad noticed a pickup of about 1 MPG.

Last I ever looked, I didnt see any headers or cat backs or anything made for the hemi. Do any companies make complete units that have a halfway decent price?

 

No offense, but you must not have looked very hard. As far as Headers and stuff goes, I'd look at the Supermaxx system with high flow headers, cats and Y. As far as cat-back goes, you can look at Borla, Gibson, Magnaflow, Flowmaster...

 

Wow....to say that you haven't seen any headers/cat-backs for the Hemi....especially saying that in this forum....wow.....[sm=boink3.gif]

 

i aint strolled in..now i see they make stuff..

the ram has 25000 something miles..11K left before the warranty runs out..if we look for hop ups now, we can save up and get them on mile 36,001. Headers will be long run, cat back first. K&N here pretty quick. The tonneau seems to have added about 0.5 or 1 MPG on freeway driving. So thats what, $1.25? LOL

What company sounds better? I kinda like magnaflow and borla. We're probably gonna dump the resonator, so we're pretty much going to do 2 stages-

1. Muffler back to tips
2. Headers to muffler

and yes, we would prefer true dual exhaust (give or take the X-pipe). Not sure how we want the tip setup, out back or out each side or out the same side.

Also, we're looking at ram air hoods. Any info there? Something along the lines of this..But do they make something for the HEMI that looks like the SRT-10 hood?

I like the SRT-10 hood, but not sure if 1200 bucks is worth a pre-painted SRT-10 hood (will it even bolt up? I'm thinking so?) shipped. I think the SRT-10 looks best, but could probably settle on the split intake style (it looks like it migh cram more air in too).
