shudder from stop
My truck seems to shudder when there is pressure on the drive-line from a stop. It is a long box quad cab 2500 with the 5.7 and 545RFE.
When I push up on my yolk after the transfer case there is a little play there but no play in the U-Joints. I just got it back from the dealer, and they can't seem to find anything wrong with it. They say the yolk play is within spec from Dodge.
Trucks been great just the usual 3/4 ton stuff with a Dodge that can never be figured out. It seems like ever Dodge 3/4 ton I have owned has issues like this that no one can seem to figure out.

I guess I will drain and replace my fluid in both the front and back and add 4 oz of this Limited Slip Friction Modifier to the back one.
Anyone else have some input on using this stuff?

Have you checked your front tires for tie rod, hub, and ball joint play? I had similar problem you describe and cured it with new tie rods. It always felt like I was on a washboard road when I was coming to a smooth stop.
