Default Headliner DIY!!

Headliner removal... Quite the pain in the ****!! Whats the easiest way? I removed the head rest of both front seats and maneuvered my way through. Looking to restore with leather or something easy to clean! Post it if you got it! Cheers!

Default Doing the same thing now.

I'm doing the same thing right now in my quad cab.
Been putting it off for over a year because I knew it would not be a walk in the park.

I'm taking it out to replace the drain tubes for the sunroof as the tubes going down the A&B pillars are all brittled, cracked and missing sections of it causing it to drain the rain and water into the cab.

While I have it out I'm going to change the light grey cloth material to a probably black leather or ostrich skin.

My problem right now is how to remove the two coat hangers in the rear of the cab without breaking them.

I laid the seats back and dint remove the headrests. The front pillars, middle pillars, and back pillars all need to come off. So does the overhead console.
Overall, took me an hour to remove the headliner. I removed the headliner to Dynamat. MUCH queiter when it rains, especially if it's hailing out.

Nice!! Yah i unscrewed the hangers and did everything as well, too bad about the leakage, ouch! I may wait to see how you do with the re-upholstery as i want a green/black.

Your truck is a little newer so im not sure if it is more difficult to remove pillars and such. Good job and dynomat...gonna have to do that too, think it will quite our kids? HA!

btw good job keep me posted!
