Exclamation Engine power after shift

OK... this may be a bit difficult for me to describe but here goes:

My truck reduces power during shifts... I'm sure this is just the torque management.

The problem is, sometimes after shifting into 2nd gear during light throttle acceleration it "holds" the low power, very low power. After roughly a second or so (VERY noticeable) the power will instantly jump and return to normal. It's a very large jump in power and it's instant...

It is MUCH more noticeable and ocurrs much more often with the superchips tuning installed. In fact, I've returned it to stock because it is terrible; especially in parking lots. When it jumps, it gets attention from pedestrians since you can hear the engine "jump".

I've used the SC tuner to monitor throttle position, and it appears to be very stable... it's not causing the "jump".

Returned to stock, it still does it, but to a much lesser degree. I'm certain that if I take it to the dealer, they will claim "cannot duplicate". I could get them to duplicate it and feel it, but only with the SC tuning installed... not a great idea since I have a warranty on the truck.

Ideas would be helpful!

Truck details:
2007 Dodge Ram 1500 QC 4X4 Hemi, 49,000 miles on the odometer. Stock everything (except tuner).

Yes. It's almost like an instant increase in throttle %, but it's almost too sudden for it to be a throttle increse. I cannot duplicate it with the pedal; it's not nearly instant enough.

Wow... no one has experienced this? I was hoping that a few folks had and discovered a solution.

Mine does the same thing. I have had more problems with my truck latlely and one problem will get fixed then something else. i have got most problems under control but this one happens to me at around 2nd gear also but not idiling around. its like your in the gas like normal then all of the sudden the "true" power comes out. all my problems right now are rough idiling like a rough lope.

Oh yeah and i have the SC tunner to on 87, and i dont have TRM so thats not your problem either. I also had my tranny built a year or sp ago so that shouldnt be the problem

huh... I was hoping that it was an MDS related issue. Found a TB (18-006-10) for 07-08 MDS transition issues at low speeds. I'll try to get that TSB performed; but your '03 doesn't have the MDS. It feels to me like it's the torque management re-engaging full power mode late.

When it shifts, it experiences such a power reduction during easy acceleration that it almost feels like a stick... it lets off the gas, shifts, then re-engages the throttle.

I have the Torque Mang. turned off.(No need to slip gears). What is a TSB?? lol i see it around alot. And mine is a little different. It shifts and as i am pressing the gas it will surge up a few hundred RPMs but wont do it at any other time and it dosent happen often or maybe it would happen often if i could duplicate the driving conditions.
