Heater/AC blower fan
when i first looked at my truck before purchasing i was checking all of the instruments and what not, when i turned the fan on the higher setting i couldnt help but notice it vibrated alot on the higher settings. I told them i wouldnt buy it until they corrected the issue and they said it was a part they already had ordered. when i went back to check it out again everything seemed to be working fine so i wound up buying the truck. ive meant to ask about this a while ago but ever since then i cant help but notice my fan just doesnt seem to blow enough air. i can turn it up all the way but dont like hearing the fan while i drive, on the lowest setting you can barely feel it coming out of the vents but it sounds like its working just fine. is there something that they could have done wrong while replacing the blower or better yet ghetto rigged the bad one to sound fine but wont blow the right amount of air?
You have 2 trucks listed in your sig, which one are you referring to? I don't have either of those ones, but on my 2005 hemi, the fan is pretty puny on low speeds. I always figured it was just puny, but maybe someone else can chime in if they have a different experience. I don't have any vibration issues at higher speeds though, i usually set in on 3, blows plenty of air without being to loud.
my 05 sounds like it runs hard also but hardly any air comes out.it also stops blowing cold air when i'm at a light or in heavy traffic.blows cold only when i'm moving.anyone have any ideas?
Your blend door is broken and blocking air flow and your electric fan behind the AC condenser in the grill is either dead or a blown fuse.
