RE: 22 inch rims!!!!
Are those tires a different diameter than stock? If so did you get your speedometer reset. Maybe something has been thrown off and you are no longer going the speed the speedometer is reading.
If you did get your speedo reset, how did you do it? I need to switch tires to an all terrain soon, the stockers suck hard in the mud.

Ride height (really overall tire diameter) probably did not change enough to make a huge difference in MPG (unless one runs a whole lot larger or smaller diameter) - with 305 tires the overall diameter isn't changed much even using 22" rims (maybe a 1" increase overall, which means when you read 65 MPH you're really going about 2.3 MPH faster, which means you'd "lose" about half a MPG (assuming, say, 15 MPG before).
The key factor, by far, is WEIGHT. With those 22", it's more likely that your pushing a lot heavier rim than before. This "unsprung weight" takes more energy to start and stop (imagine getting a rock started rolling, then imagine a boulder - you get the idea). So any lead foot practices are multiplied :-).
Here's a cool tire size and MPG calculator so you can see what MPG difference is due strictly to size, the rest of the difference will be due to weight:

RE: 22 inch rims!!!!
i dont know where u r from but i did it free when i wet sanded and buffed my truck. the wet sanding and buffing helped the most. i will take the emblems off for you if u live newhere close to me if not go to auto zone or somewhere and get a rubber wheel. it will scare ya to take it to your paint but use your head with it. put it in a air drill or something and once u pull your letters off just use the wheel to take the adheasive off. i get that cuz i keep my foot out of it and i am stuck with a V6 (i got a deal on it and other stuff) also my K7N gen II helps a lil. my jet chip should be here monday or tuesday then my throttle body should be here a week or so after that so we will see what i get then. if u have any questions about the rubber wheel just message me or hit me up on yahoo my addy is bmph8er@yahoo.com email and messanger

Removing adhesive residues from debadging or removing decals...
3M Adhesive Cleaner - check it out:

Goo Gone and WD-40 work great too. Some have even used spray vegetable oil (like Pam).
Works great and less risk of screwing up your top coat.
To take off badges, just heat 'em up a little and pry 'em off...
