Default Finally: E-fan install

So,I finally did my e-fan install. I went to Advance Auto and purchased my controller(adjustable thermostatic fan control)Hayden3647,actually says Imperial automotive products on the package, Hayden is in smaller letters. Then off to the local pick and pull for a taurus fan, not one stinkin taurus had the 3.8, they were all 4-bangers! Well,I started checking out some of the mid 90's thunderbirds with the 3.8's. They have a 2-speed fan in as well, and are 18" in diameter. Took a chance and bought 2 @ $13.00 apiece. Got them home, they worked fine. Next thing was how to mount the fan using the stock shroud, didn't want to loose my fluid bottle locations. This is what I came up with. Left the wires long in case I want to move the controller later. What do you guys think?

Very nicely done, what differences have you noticed so far?

Any particular reason you removed the mechanical/clutch fan?

throttle seems a little snappier but that could be in my head, slight mpg increase.@ c.c.w. supposidely frees up horse power and we all want that.

While you can piggy back both fans, once you install the electric fan, the clutch fan really is not need but is good to keep as a backup in case anything ever fails

The main purpose here is not better cooling but the intention is to be able to remove the clutch fan since it is mounted directly to the water pump shaft which is belt driven by the engine.

Less parasitic drag on the engine, theoretically more power and less fuel consumption.

put in my flex a lite 183 less then a week ago. And there is a decent gain in power. But im more surprised on the mileage increase so far. Was getting 19.5mpg on highway doing 70. ( This is all together with CAI, vivid linq, e-fan). So far im real happy with my efan, should almost come stock with efans. Cant think of a Con to the new fan set up yet.
